Lookin' to run some trails.

 

Like your rack. What do you plan to haul on it. Was looking at one of those do you mind not having the side rails? Lift looks nice too. Check out Joshua tree for some cool trails. I did Old Dale Road in Joshua tree from Porcupine Wash area to Highway 62 at the time I had a totally stock 2016 4Runner Trail with stock tires. You should have no problem with your set up. There were a few sections that were more difficult, although I never felt I was going to damage my truck. I ran it alone. Here is a link...

Thanks man! My family and I love camping at J-tree, but I haven't had the chance to do too much offroading there. I appreciate the map though. We plan on checking out the wildflowers soon, so I think I will definitely try your trails!

 

Sorry, forgot to answer your question. I have a family of 4, so when we do a weekend camping trip, I am hauling tons of stuff. Two big soft carriers and my ez-up usually go up top. All my other stuff goes in the back (Just barely!).

 

Sounds good. I was wondering if a rooftop tent would work with that rack. Enjoy!

 

I believe the rack is rated to 300lbs, so I guess it depends on how much u and the roof top tent weighs. I would love to get one but they are a bit out of my budget for now.
