I am going to install lift fox 2.5 with Icon uca’s. I will be running my stock off road wheels. The kit recommends wheel spacers or a wheel with 4.5” backspace. The off road wheels are 4.5 backspace.

My question is, anybody running this setup without wheels spacers. I really don’t want to run the spacers unless I absolutely have to.

I ran stock offroad wheels (Old Trail before TRDORP) and only had rub on the mud flaps. Removed those and no rub. Installed 1" BORA spacers and had some rubbing at full lock on the body mount. Increased caster to about 3.6 degrees and very minimal rub. SPC UCA's and 3" front Bilsteins.

Don't have exact setup but ELKA 2.5DC + SPC UCA + Stock ORP wheels + BFG KO2 285/70R17 load C I only needed to trim the bottom of the bumper and push fender liner.

Not worried about tire fit, but just the wheel spec’s. I have 2021 ORP I do see that all factory wheels for the 2021 have same 4.5”backspace regardless of width or offset. The website that I am studying recommends 4.5” or wheel spacers, but it just dawned on me that this kit will fit “03-22” 4Runner noting that the earlier runners in these years had different wheel spec’s 2003 had an offset of 30 versus my 15. So I am thinking I will be ok. 7421A616-1BBE-4B2F-802F-64309057BC5C.jpg
