    Amen brother!

I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member. Including frantically waving douchebags who feel the need of validation.

This IS the 4Runner wave. I do it whenever I’m stopped at a light with a Jeep behind me

Okay - so this is going against the "grain" of the threads here and has nothing to do with the vehicle I'm driving but, when I'm up on the mountain close to my TN property, almost everyone you encounter coming in the opposite direction gives you the "how ya doing" wave or sometimes just raising a couple of fingers off the steering wheel to acknowledge another human being coming at you. Myself I think it's kinda cool these folks do this sort of thing..

Was he banned again? I put both of his names on "ignore" awhile back.

Regarding the wave, if I see another modded 4Runner, and I can see they are looking my way (at my mildly modded, but obviously not stock 4R) I'll wave, and often get one in return.

    Lol!!

I recently moved to a semi rural area. My neighbors regularly wave whenever they drive past if I'm walking the dog or screwing around with the 4Runner 8n the driveway. It's nice! :)

I've also recently moved to a rural area and live on a dead end street. We wave, they wave, it's all good. And it doesn't matter if I'm in my 4R or Jeep, I still wave at them even if they're in Ford P/U's. It's nice to feel welcomed. And especially since I plow the access roads to their homes with my neighbors plow truck.
The retired life is treating us well.

On a semi-related note; I was on a trail run yesterday with a bunch of other Toyota people. We had stopped after an interesting section just to get out and BS a little bit. A group of about 10 or 12 Jeeps drove through, and we could only get three of them to wave at us. Most of them drove past without even glancing at us. So, I guess Jeep guys can be dicks too.

I've noticed a lot of Jeep owners have the bumper sticker mindset of "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand." Ok. Whatever.

The worst and most pompous drivers, in my opinion, are BMW drivers.

The off-road shop I usually go to is mostly Jeeps and Broncos. I've had them do some small projects for me, but it seems like everyone who has called to ask about work on a Toyota gets a ridiculously high quote. They're good guys, but I think they just prefer working on what they know.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
I've been driving my Jeep a lot lately. Yesterday I drove the 4Runner. It's a/c is way better than the Jeep plus it just handles pavement better. Found myself waving at Jeeps. All of which who returned my wave.

Remembered that I was in my 4Runner and waved at a Taco - no wave back.

I just got rid of a 2021 gladiator , everyone would wave that has a jeep front and truck rear . I still have a regular jeep and people wave like crazy , but all the 4runners never got a wave but I have the 2022 TRD Pro in Lime Rush and I get comments on the color all the time , people love the color .
I like my Jeep Wrangler but its a big toy , I don’t get why they would get rid of there 4runner for a Jeep … I see it all the time , not going to say are junk but a 4runner is a solid truck compared to a jeep … 4runners don’t need a wave

If I waved at every 4runner/driver I saw, my arm would probably want to fall off. They are everywhere!
