Can you clarify what light you mean by courtesy light? The small one on the door panel or the overhead interior lights?

Have you recently changed interior light bulbs to LEDs?

Take a look at this thread. It sounds like a similar problem. This one was due to installing a faulty LED bulb into the bottom of the driver door that was shorted and it fried a circuit in the MPX ECU. There are some troubleshooting steps in there to help narrow it down.

    Good luck.

Hey, you seem to be the SME on electrical stuff as I keep seeing your name pop up everywhere lol. I read the post you linked. I had a faulty dome light which I was too lazy to replace for awhile. Just got a meso customs in and it doesn't turn on. I checked for voltage and get nothing. I replaced the 10 fuse for DOME. I'm at the point of suspicion that it's the ECU. I also noticed that the speakers will pop when I shut it off, or at times during a drive. Haven't noticed if it stopped since replacing the 10amp fuse.

I haven't checked the harness to the dome light as I can not find schematics anywhere to verify. I'll go probe the leads and check the speaker pop after this comment, though. Where is the ECU so I can open it up and check for burnt components, though. And do you know where I can find a new ECU and/or schematics? Google really isn't much help oddly enough.

EDIT: I took the dome light apart. I tested the POS and GND connections for the bulb. Nothing. I tested the 3 wires and connections and get 11.88 (with the door open and vehicle off). Somewhere in the dome connection is where the fault seems to lie, if I can get power from the wiring and copper connections but not to the bulb connects.. Maybe I'll take it completely apart and see where it is failing. Maybe it burnt it up along with the fuse I replaced. Electricity always goes for the weakest link, no?

EDIT2: I feel incredibly dumb. I guess months ago when I swapped it out I turned the dome light off, and because it didn't use the switch, I never realized it until troubleshooting it. Thank god I didn't buy an ecu hah. I bet the older LED dome light I bought works too. shit.
