When you’re walking up to your truck and have to pause for a brief moment to admire it

I know that exact feeling. Although I usually pause for more than a "brief" moment.

I gotta say, it is one damn good looking vehicle. I always admire it when I'm walking away or walking towards.

Yup, luckily I have a Camry to go to work. 4R has always been an "off-road toy" first, road vehicle second. Now, its an "off-road ONLY" vehicle until gas prices come down.

 

yep, even when I’m out in n the trails I stop just to admire this unstoppable beast.

 

There's my girl! She'll look so much better after I get the roof rails powder coated and add some blacked out taillights in the next month or so.

And, yes, I know the hate for bull bars is strong on here, but I like it, and it's not a flimsy piece of metal.

 

This is the view I cant pull my eyes off of. Spent damn near 4 hours today changing oil, removing and cleaning skidplates, greasing the driveshafts, and generally inspecting. It didn’t need to take 4 hours. I just wanted it to.

This is the view that reminds me why I bought this, why it’s worth tending, and why it’s worth keeping. This is the 4runner!!!

Way better than having that technic lego set with the fancy working suspension, gearboxes, and diffs. I have the real thing!!!

 

It just happened to me on Friday, when I got out after a day of fun!



And, sometimes (like, WAAAAY too often), I take pictures of it in the driveway.

What basket is that in the second picture? Do you know the width then lenght of it as well

 

It's the Yakima Megawarrior, with extension. Overall, it's 74" long, and 48" wide.

After having lived in SW Arizona for nearly 30 years, I look for nice, shady, paring spots myself when I'm out. Just a habit I picked up, I guess, that stuck with me now that I'm in Oregon.



I don't always succeed, but I look for them

Not sure if this owner is on here but saw this at my hotel last night and this morning.

 

I was thinking it’s more like jigsaw puzzle themed more than camouflage, but hey, to each their own.

 

I saw both a bunch of amoebae's or a cow. Can't decide which one though.
