Good question. I can’t tell with all labels on that truck. I believe the owner thinks it is.

Living in LA I can 100% promise you it's for show (not a 4Runner but you get the idea). What is this guy gonna do with an extra half gallon of gas?

 

That is 1 gallon and if there was a car on the side of the freeway that ran out of gas he would be able to help get enough in the tank to get the car to a gas station. Or have one extra gallon that he paid at a cheaper rate before the gas prices went up the next day.

 

He's got a gallon of water there, too. Useful since LA is actually a desert.

 

That’s actually a sacrificial offering to gas thieves so they don’t puncture his tank.

 

Thing I hate to see on my 4Runner: low fuel light.

 

Most scoops on vehicles have no mechanical purpose. It's simply aesthetics - people (like me) like the looks. Vehicles are adorned with all kinds of non-functional items to make them more visually appealing. The only reason to have a 'real' scoop is if additional cooling is required (turbos, superchargers, etc.).

 

I saw a “jeep wave” sticker ✌On a 4Runner yesterday. It actually read JEEP WAVE.

That ladder is hugging the sheet steel of the hatch so closely, that it makes it hard to even hang anything on them, much less get a toe hold. They should just sell ladder stickers.

It don’t matter. Pumps shut off at $75 where I go.

 

Christ there is some stuff driving around where I live that I don't even want to talk about it. Holy crap what is wrong with people.

This has been happening to people that I know as well. Meanwhile, I have been able to put up to 140 some dollars in my work truck without any issues so far. I wonder if it's because I have a fleet card.

 

I hit the card again with no problems. If there was, I would go to a 2nd pump and finish filling up.

 

I put $92 in mine today. That was my 3rd fill-up this weekend

Something I wouldn't mind seeing in my 4Runner:

 

I was going to give this a like, but with gas prices the way they are i just couldn’t do it.

 

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry!

Nothing like spending $200 on fuel just to go have a little fun for the weekend.

 

I spend $6 on a cup of fancy coffee. Seems silly of me to complain about gas prices.

 

23 cups of fancy coffee = 1 fill-up.

 

I would agree if I regularly drank 40 cups of fancy coffee in a weekend.
