    none that I'm aware of
    Hello everyone,
I have a 91 4runner that my dad bought for me back in 2015 and I am finally getting ready to fix it. I have several issues with the vehicle that I need to fix but have no idea how to go about fixing it.
    1) Back in 2016, me and my dad were trying to get it running. everything was fine up until the head gaskets failed
2 the passenger side 4wd connector (I don't know what it is called) is either missing or needs replacement.
    3) I don't know much about cars or trucks, only what my dad has taught me (oil changes and stuff that he directs me to do) so I don't know much about the parts or technical stuff.

the truck only has 120,000 miles on the engine, previous owner for the most part took care of it, but it has been sitting in my back yard for about 5 years without any major maintenance. How should I go about to getting it running/fixing the vehicle?

I never took pictures of the vehicle, so I have no pictures to upload.

Welcome but pictures would help of the connector would help. Have you had the head gasket replace yet? Unless your dad is good with heavy troubleshooting, you may be better off with having it looked at by a mechanic. Lots can go bad when a vehicle sits in a yard for 5 years.

Is the connector you're referring to the below the engine or is it further back behind the transmission?
