I'm not sure why. As far as I've heard TRD Pro does not come directly from factory in Japan so it is not in 100% Japan quality. I could be wrong. This is bone stock, no lift, no after market wheels & tires, nothing.

The Hunter RFB machine is only as good as the tech operating it. They need to find the high and low weight spot and run-out on the wheel first, and then match those to the tire's red and yellow spots. You get a better result with fewer weights used. My local DT used 12 weights, some stacked on top of others, to balance my Wrangler's tires and they still wobbled. I ripped everyone of them off (because it looked like crap) and it ran much smoother. They kept compounding their errors. My 4R had to go back twice to get balanced and they gouged the rims, so I took the replacements to an independent shop who took the time to do it right. Two wheels have ZERO weights on them, 1 wheel has a single small weight and the other has two small weights. Even after rotating them, there is no vibration.

You can always throw some good old balance beads in there for good measure just make sure they dump the bags in the tires and don't throw the whole bags in there like it says to on some of them

They've been around for years. Not very accurate, but better than Bubba with an air impact.

So I gave the dealer a one star rating on my review. Today I got a call from the dealer and they wanted to see the truck on Saturday, I already made an appointment with a big, local tire shop with a road force balancer on Saturday as well. Dealer said that they also have a road force balancer. So I cancelled my appointment with the tire shop. Let's see what happens on Saturday.

Amazing what a one-star review can accomplish.

UPDATE: I just got back from the dealer. They did a 4 wheel road balancing job and the truck now drives wonderful. I drove it up to 72 mph and it was smooth. The tech said two of the wheels were out of balance and when they were moved up front, that caused the terrible wobble. The dealer charged me $160 labor cost, which is the same if I would have brought it to an independent shop I originally had an appointment with. I emailed Tire Rack and they are reimbursing me $100. I am happy with the outcome.

Very nice, sounds like tire rack has good customer service as well. I was browsing there site and I was surprised that the stock Dunlop AT 20’s were more expensive vs the bf good rich ko2’s!

Last time I went through this with Firestone they had to replace all four tires two times with road Force balancing everything each time to get it right on their dime. Sounds like you made out pretty good to me. I'd be happy with that outcome as long as she still rides smooth at 80 to 85 mph

Have you had your tire/wheel assemblies road force balanced? When tire/wheel vibration "comes and goes" it is often because you have two tire/wheel assemblies that are moderately imbalanced so every time you go around a corner the high spots on your wheels change phase to each other and when they line up you feel vibration.

Yes I had it done at the dealership. It was very bad and constant @ 2 miles.

Yea i have a ‘95 and the thing feels like it’s going to shake itself apart sometimes other times it rides just fine. But, that’s after adjusting tire pressures. Maybe check on that since it seems simple to do. If it works for any you here please let me know so i don’t go crazy trying to figure out what im missing

We used to use color coded ones like that at Sears in the auto center around 2000. Worked great but I can't claim to know that particular brand.
