    Extreme electrical noobie here...

    I bought a harness set and an amber light kit for the grill and got it wired and set. I followed an instructional video online that had me feed the wire through the hole to the fuse box under the dashboard. I attached the ground wire to the fuse box but I think I plugged it into the wrong 10a fuse. Engine turned on, no dice on light.

    In hindsight I think I should have connected it to the 10a IGN fuse in the box under the hood. I've watched a couple videos after doing this install and somehow it seems more logical.

    Question(s):

    Which fuse should I connect the lights to on the fuse box in the dash? And when I connect it I'm assuming that I remove another plastic fuse and plugging in the provided adapter in its place? (Once again I am really dumb)

    Do I try to get it connected to the fuse box under the hood? I don't think I can remove the connection from the adapter, and there's no way that thing is getting fed back through. Assuming I would have to buy a new fuse adapter and establish new connection to the harness...

    Thoughts on having the lights linked to the fog light switch? I'm not sure this is feasible but I feel like it would be logical instead of having it on 24/7 while the engine's running.

    And lastly, thoughts on installing a switch left of the steering wheel to turn on the light?

    Lots of questions and ignorance on my part here... sorry in advance.

    It's unplugged right now so no pictures, but ground wire and fuse adapter is fed through and sitting next to parking brake right now.

    Trd Pro wheels with Falken Wildpeak AT3 tires. Ceramic window tint. LED lights. Frontrunner 3/4 roof rack. Alpharex Luxx Headlights. Morimoto XB amber fog lights. Bilstein 5100 shocks front set at 1.75 and rear with a 1" cornfed spacer.
    Want them on all the time when the truck is on? Use ACC. Want them on when headlights are on? use TAIL. I believe this is correct unless someone else chimes in with a better spot.
