I'm a new owner of a used Gen3 T4R recently acquired with the advice and logical dialogue of this forum and you all. The value of your readily available knowledge-base served me in making the choice and more importantly a financial decision on par with the condition of the vehicle. For that I shout rather LOUDLY...Thank You All!!!
    Vehicle: 2000 T4R 3.4L V6 Limited Millennium Silver with Tan Interior 256,230 miles 2WD

    Mechanical work thus far:
    • Replaced Rear axel seals
    • Flushed rear axel fluid/gear oil
    • Replaced rear chuck and drive shaft - used with >36,000 miles
    • Replaced rear brakes shoes
    • Valve cover gasket, timing belt, water pump and thermostat (previous owner did at around 252,000 miles...tech did a solid job at this)
    • Replaced inner tie rod ends
    • Flushed engine oil, changed oil and filter
    • Replaced battery - old one was holding at 54%
    Mechanical work pending:
    • Complete tune-up; replacing spark plugs, wires, MAF and Throttle-body cleaning
    • Replace air filter with K&N
    • Engine bay and under vehicle degreasing pressure washing
    • Repairing Climate Controller - same knob spin and lighting issues
    • Repairing/replacing (aftermarket) radio head - CD skips intermittently
    Interior work pending:
    • Reupholstering or covering with Wet Okie seat covers the front seats (several cracks in leather, worn pretty good on driver side)
    • Cleaning rear seats and carpet - will remove seats to facilitate this. Possibly replacing carpet and installing sound and heat matting
    • Detailing dash, steering wheel, transmission lever, and headliner
    Exterior work pending:
    • Replacing wiper blades with PIAA Super Silicone
    • Installing VLEDs
    • Tinting windows
    • Installing in-channel deflectors on doors
    • Installing floor mats (Front, rear and cargo)
    • Repairing fixing rock chips, slight dents and scratches
I look forward to reading and learning from this forum and on an occasion when I think I have something both pertinent and compete to contribute I shall. Again, I say thank you and Godspeed!! - MoMac
