I finished up with the lift on my ORP w/KDSS and wanted to post the results. Here is what I put on:

Extended travel Kings w/adjusters on the rear, Icon +2" springs
    KDSS spacers in rear
Kings w/adjusters on the front, 600lb King springs, 4 threads showing on driver's side, 3 on passenger (ish)
    Icon tubular UCAs

King coilovers for the 4Runner come with 550lb springs. I have Kings w/550s on my '19 SR5P and they are too soft, so I ordered 600lb springs and swapped them out for this lift. After feeling the results, I am going to put in 600lb springs on my '19 too.

I did the lift myself. The rears were pretty straight forward. I disconnected both sides of the rear KDSS for 2 reasons. One, I needed to install the spacers and two, it makes the spring installs (w/o compressors) doable. The only time I needed help was on the driver's side. I had one of my sons fit the spring on while I stood on the hub, which dropped it down enough.

I didn't put KDSS spacers up front nor did I unbolt either side. Fitting in the driver's side coilover was easy. With the passenger side, you have to "jack up" the KDSS ram, which drops the passenger's side enough to get the coilover in.

The UCAs were a huge PITA because of an issue I talked about on another thread. In a nutshell, I needed different washers for them to fit and finding them took 2 days.

I measured the gains by going from the ground, up through the hub and to the bottom of the fender. DS = drivers side, PS = passenger side, F = front, R = rear

    Pre-lift:

    DSF 34.25"
    PSF 34.25"
    DSR 35.5"
    PSR 36"

    Post-lift:

    DSF 37.5"
    PSF 37.25"
    DSR 38"
    PSR 37.75"

Overall, it rides noticeable better than stock. The stock front shocks seemed to be valved very stiff and are a different part number the fronts on my '19. It rides much more smoothly now. The KDSS's ride is stiffer by nature, but how it controls body roll is amazing. These shocks compliment KDSS nicely.

I was gun shy about putting too much pre-load on the 600lb springs but I think I'm going to put a winch in so I wanted some preload. Now that I have good spring compressors, I bet I could clamp them enough to adjust preload without taking them out.

IMO, adjusters are a must have for the front if you buy remote reservoirs. You are really gambling on whatever valving the manufacturer decides to put in will be right for you. I really regret not getting them on my '19, FWIW.

***EDIT The rear lift wasn't enough for me or my wife, so I also installed 1" rear lift blocks and it now looks perfect! It also allows for some weight to be put into the bed (I do have a cab-high shell, Bedrug and "bug out" gear)

I wanted to get better pics than these, but these'll have to do for now.

The tires/wheels get replaced next week.

Awesome! I ordered Dobs IMS with 2.5 and 1.5 springs, SPC UCAs and KDSS Spacers. Cant wait to install them on my 22 ORP w/KDSS

What are your measurement from center of hub to fender all way around? I have icons and am at 23.5 even all way around.

That is what I heard from the 4x4 shop here in CO. He said not to add KDSS spacers in front. It will create an angle that will put stress on the fixed pin that could damage. He recommends using spacers in rear to add clearance for pan hard bar but not in front.

    Questions-

1)Is Icon tubularUCAs same design as Totalchaos uniball UCA? If so the maintenance is just to add lubricant to the ball? No other maintenance needed?
1a) I was little bit trying to find Totalchaos long travel kit or regular lift with Totalchaos UCA & LCA for more travel.

    2) On the same line Kings seems to have the most shock travel, is that wrong? When I check other shocks with 2 way and 3way compression and rebound are comfy than Kings but don't have shock travel as Kings.
