Any of you all got any experience buying items from GSA auctions? I knew about this program during my military days but never really had any reason to buy any gear.

I registered about a year ago to bid on some pelican cases, but got outbid.

The website got some clear instructions on registering, POCs, how to inspect items, etc. and it seems pretty straight forward. Not just entirely sure if the entire process is.

I didn't previously, but now because of this thread I'm about to be the proud new owner of a 1977 Dodge M880 fire truck!

Most everything I looked at seemed like "local pickup only, buyer beware," but that's not the same as experience. Good luck - looks like a lotta great finds on there, including a bunch of FEMA travel trailers in Louisiana.

That truck looks amazing for its age, hope you get it. Let us know how it goes and good luck to you as well.
