Quality adjustable hitch recommandations

Guys/Gals,

What brand model of adjustable hitch do all of you reccomend. I am need one for my 21 ORP and have an aluminum boat. With my old Explorer my ball sat about 18" off the ground (to top of ball).

I was looking at maybe a B&W hitches lately.

Some concerns are:

1) These cotter pins that hold the adjusters (don't want anyone to steal or goof around with it)

2) Do any of you need these silencer pads etal so that you do not get "jarring" in the hitch with receiver?

I only thought of buying an adjustable hitch in case I decide to rent a utility trailer someday from Home Depot or Uhaul etal.

You can push a locking pin through any 2nd hole in most any application. Then a 2nd one form the hitch to the adjuster. Somethig as light as that boat doesnt require 20k lbs and $250. This $100 works just fine. If you want cheaper, Harbor Freight has one that is similar to above and perfect for lightweight applications.
