I asked the same question in the 4th gen forum but figure I'll ask here too. Let me know if I'm breaking some mod rule...

I am looking at modifying my lower row of lights to better suit these East Coast winters. I have Diode Dynamics SAE Max 3" lights, a set of both amber and white, on (back) order so that I can install in the area where the stock fogs and turn lamps normally go. I already have new flush mount ambers to wire into the turn signal connector, where I'm just going to drill a new spot for them more on the side of the bumper. For the fronts I figured I would just fab up some L brackets for mounting and bracing from the bumper mount and the bumper plastic itself. Then I came across this 3D printed custom mount for the fog light area. https://solidshiftconcepts.com/product/2003-2005-4runner-fog-light-led-mounts/

While I debate whether its worth it, has anyone done something like this? This may solve the fog replacement, but the turn signal replacement is still up in the air.

Also yes I know I can just get a whole aftermarket bumper with these cutouts already, but I like my fascia and dont need that clearance with the wheeling I do. Thanks for any thoughts!

Hi, I was wondering what you came up with?
I have some diode dynamics ss3 pro amber fog that I am planning on putting in my fog light location. For now, I think I'll be leaving the turn signal in place, but I was just curious if you came up.
    Thanks

I couldnt find anything resembling the SolidShiftConcepts option for both the turn signal and fog light, but didnt want to have half of a proper mount. So i just did what i mentioned before that and pulled off my bumper and drilled some holes in the spot where the lights would go. I put up some pictures of the end result in my build page (Sterling) on the 4th gen builds area.
