My 07 4runner steering wheel shakes pretty badly intermittently but only in the morning or right when the first drive of the day. Its not during any particular time like accelerating turning or breaking but its weird because after a few miles of driving it almost completely stops. Anyone have this problem and found a way to fix it?

Shakes when you’re accelerating? Idling? Braking?

Or maybe drive it only in the afternoon? LoL

Cold startup taking too long to get the engine at operating parameters so your power steering pump doesnt provide enough pressure initially while you use it so it shakes...? some logical leaps there but your issue is weird if its not tied to any other aspect of driving

how are your tires? one might have a flat-spot that will "disappear" as the tire warms up.

I use to have this problem back in the day with bias-ply tires. Modern-day radials shouldn't do that. Maybe the cold weather is creating the flat spot??? Not sure where you are located.
