    Hello all,

Thanks ahead of time for your help.

I have a 08 4Runner Limited V8 4WD with 206k miles. Very recently, I noticed a squeak (very similar to brake squeak) when making a left turn (a full turn not just veering left) at low speeds. The noise tends to stop if I tap the brakes in the process of making the turn. There is also no noise if I turn the wheel hard left when stopped. Intuition says wheel bearings/hubs, but wanted to see if anyone has any ideas before moving forward.

    Thanks again for the help.

Nothing happens turning right? Not your actual brake pad wear indicator also right? I mean it sounds like indicators of bearing/hub issue to me too but give it a test and let us know your results

Nothing when turning right. Also I just changed the brake pads and rotors a couple weeks ago so wear seems unlikely. I did get the car last month and, to my knowledge, the bearings are, so it seems like I’d be due

Make sure all your lug nuts are tight. Could be an ever so slight movement of the rotor under stress. That, combined with worn pads is what it sounds like to me.
I don't think a bad wheel bearing would sound like you describe either.

Ok so just got a second set of ears to listen on the outside of vehicle as a I drove around. He thought it was actually the passenger rear not passenger front. I just swapped those rotors and pads recently as well. We sprayed a bit of wd40 into the passenger side parking break to see what happened. That seemed to temporarily fix it. Maybe it was just a slight tolerance issue with the new rotor? I don’t think I’ll worry about it
