Hello I’ll be traveling in Northern Arizona at the end of the month and we are looking to check out some Slot Canyon areas in Arizona maybe Utah. Would like some ideas/guidance as to which may be better and which Companies offer the better tours or can one so it alone? Thanks.

Right on, I’ll definitely get the Arizona one. I was reading the only way to access the Slot Canyons in AZ is thru a tour with a Navajo guide. Not sure about Utah.

Went in 2018 to the slot canyons in AZ. Highly recommend going with the Navajo guides.. you will have access to areas not accessible to the masses, with an extremely knowledgeable guide who will explain the history and lore associated with the slots.096AC4C7-0EB7-4695-A14E-4A529D8F8342.jpg

Yes we are definitely booking a tour with a Navajo guide. Wow what a great picture.

For self guided hikes look at the Zion NP/Kolob Canyon and Kanab areas in Utah. Lots of excellent hiking trails to choose from.
