Bought a Prinsu rack, but UPS damaged it slightly in shipping! Thankfully the website I bought it from worked out warranty options with Prinsu and offered a bunch of great options. Now I just need to sell my current roof rack before I can install it!

I added some RCI rock sliders. Pain in the ass by myself, would have made a great 2-man job, lol

I used a motorcycle jack, which was actually super helpful.

What Deer did to 4Runner the other night. Pictures don't really show the damage as well as in person. Marked less obvious in orange.

Long story short, accidentally purchased these LED lights (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B088F6Y6CZ?ie=UTF8) and missed the opportunity to return them. On top of that, while water-resistant not for outdoors or water-proof, and likely will not last in Arizona's summer. Nonetheless, temporarily installed them under the driver-side roof rail but will permanently install them. While not capable of lighting up the neighborhood, they do provide a subtle light, use little power, stay cool, and have a white-black specific stealth profile (aside from the zip ties) when not in use. Possibly a market available if made for outdoor use.

Neither had I until now. Only saw a flash almost at the same time heard/felt the impact. I can't figure out how it hit, was it attempting to jump? I was doing about 35mph. Tremendous amount of new home construction close to my house that are driving new patterns for critters. What use to be, 25 years ago, woods, open fields, even hobby farms of good size are now cookie cutter, one size fits all 2-story Drone dwellings.

Time for us to move further out.

I figured it was going to be above 4k to fix, prob more as you said. Had we been in Wife's go-cart height Camry I believe it would have maybe come through window.

Wow. She hit the tire hard enough push it in around the bead so it pinched fur before she bounced of. Hell of an impact to do that

It would have been fun to have you along. Patriot Mountain is great! I'll be going back sometime. Has me seriously thinking about lifting my 4Runner and definitely getting new tires soon. The stock tires that came with purchase did OK and have a lot of miles left on them but this trip convinced me to make the change.... the training with Morrison Outdoor Adventures was worth every penny too. I found them on the Patriot Mountain web page.

Always good to see some jump wings and the CIB! My son is wrapping up infantry basic training now and has a Ranger Contract! I was a paratrooper and HALO - all peacetime fun and games for me!

    Thanks for your service!

Thanks. I made a career out of it. Your son may know my nephew. He is at about the same place as your son in the pipeline or whatever they call it now lol. He signed up for the Airborne Ranger contract as well. Can’t wait to knock him on his ass when he graduates jump school. Hehe

Three years active and four years NG for me. I went to jump school in 07/83 - almost 39 years ago - unbelievable - where did the time go?

I think my son finishes basic this Thursday and starts AIT on Monday. Then RASP! They may be in the same basic training cycle, probably will be in the same RASP class. My son says there are six others in his company with Ranger contracts. I believe the Army now sends them to jump school after they have successfully completed RASP. The recruiter told my son that too many kids were signing Ranger contracts just to guarantee jump school and then would quit RASP immediately. It was called RIP when I was in. Good luck to your nephew!
