Toyota ATF WS - Alternatives

    I did not see any old thread specific to the fluids everyone is using. Let this not be a "bible" to Transmission service but more of a reference.

    The oil used for Toyota transmissions as widely known is the Toyota ATF WS. The next statements would be nice to gain clarification and I can edit the post as things are cleaned up:

    • Is there another marketplace other than Amazon where anyone has found Toyota ATF WS? I have seen it there, but Amazon can at times sell forged products....

    • My understanding is the only other "officially approved" WS is "Aisin WS". Is this really the case?
