Any tutorials or install advice on swapping out puddle light bulbs and sequential signals on 4runners equipped with mirror camera/mtm? I've gotten as far as the mirror and top cap removal but the trim that surrounds the turn signal, camera and puddle light is being a pain in the butt for me. I've released all the tabs holding the trim on but it refuses to release. The camera enclosure is what's making this difficult for me. I've done this swap on a previous 4runner without mtm with no issues

Did the camera come out with the black trim that houses the signal. The trim just won't come loose for me. Did it all just release like in other tutorials? I got the front two tabs and back tab of the black trim loose but the camera housing seems to be keep the trim from releasing

Yeah from what I remember, the bottom trim just popped off along with the camera, you have to wiggle it a lot. The only other thing I can think of is that you have to make sure that you unhook the wires on the trim piece otherwise they get caught and will stop you from removing the piece.

I know about the yellow wires but what about the camera wires. Did you just release all wires? Thanks

I just remembered that I took some pictures to share if anyone ever had questions haha. The wires that were getting caught for me were the purple/orange ones for the puddle light. Make sure that you unlatch the grey connector for the camera as well (it's clipped onto the mirror housing). Everything should just drop down after as shown below

Completed it today. You were a big help with that picture. Appreciate it! Also for anyone looking for sequential mirror signals. Suparee sequential signals on Amazon have the factory pastic tabs and stay into place by themselves. Black smoke really matches the black overlays. Its more black than smoke and its a thick pattern and not a thin line like some others I've seen. 55$ for the pair
