    Hello all,

i just bough a new 2022 4runner trd orp and I noticed a bolt sticks out near the back tire on both sides.
My question is this common or is it just my 4runner with this issue?
Any solution on how to cover it? Or fix it? Thank you all

Normal. Also, how'd you know it was a seat belt bolt?

Poor design. Mask off around it and spray it with a spray can bedliner to partially cover and protect from rust.

Does anyone know the thread pitch for this seatbelt bolt poking out into the rear wheel well ? I want to buy some black acorn nuts to cap them off.

Definitely normal. The '21s had the bolt poking through as well.

I posted about this a while back. The consensus was “normal no worries” but add a dab of undercoating if it will make you sleep better.

I used this to cover all those poking bolts since I got my T4R new. it dries like rubber.

Late to the game but that section of wheel well on my 21 Venture had a scrape (tire rub?) on that rubber cap where the screw sticks out from the tire. Ripped the cap off like a scab but it was still hanging there. I removed it, hollowed it out a bit and used some black silicone adhesive to secure it back into place. The gave it a few swipes of rubberized wheel well undercoating. A year later it is still in place.
