Hey everyone, I'm a new 4runner owner and wanted to get into the off-roading community (if there is one) in San Antonio, TX.

I was wondering if there is a group of people that ever help each other out with mods or if there are any 4runner meet ups in the area.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
Look on Facebook for local Overland or Off Road Groups.
If you can't find one, start your own.

There are lots of folks that want to get off road. We have a Facebook Off Road club that started with about 3 guys that is now up to 1500+ members. We've had anywhere from 2 vehicles on a trail ride to 20.

Tip on starting a group. Don't limit yourself to just Toyotas. Make the group open to all 4wd street legal vehicles. Plan some events, clearly post meeting times, and locations.

Some folks met up in December at Fiesta Texas, but there has been no mention of how (or if) it went. I have been keeping an eye out in case there is a January meeting since I missed that one. Maybe we could get a group to hit Hidden Falls sometime.

Yeah, I think there’s a satx 4runner Facebook group. If not, Texas Toyota coalition and Texas overland groups on Facebook

It’s 2022. Yahoo groups don’t exist anymore, homie.

Yeah I was on there from 2008-2015. If I miss a Toyota outing because I’m not on there, that’s all I am missing. ✌️

Fellow SA 4R owner here! Just picked up my Limited in November. I've never really gotten into offroading (once or twice in my previous Forester and Tundra) but I'd love to start down here. Getting a 2/1 level and some meatier tires on methods this weekend so I'd love to try it out around here.
