Just got my first 4Runner though I've always wanted one. I'm looking for beginner groups/trails in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky. Any recommendations?

Welcome! In Southwest Indiana there is place called Interlake State Recreation Park. I've not been there but follow a dude on Instagram where he did a weekend trip there. It looked like fun...

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
Welcome from Missouri. I've played around on the trails up by Kingsley Michigan. I believe they are all closed for snowmobile season though.

Technically in Michigan you need an OHV sticker. I just snuck around on the trails behind my brother in-law's house.

A lot of 2-Track dirt/sand roads up in Michigan that can become pretty technical. The main reason I got a 4runner was for all my hunting and fishing expeditions up there! Also, badlands off-road park in Attica. I have only ever gone there with a friend a few years ago, but it was pretty cool for Indiana.
