Hey guys, looking to off road Hungry Valley Recreational area. Anyone have some trails they recommend? I have a stock sr5 4x4 with rock sliders and General Grabber X3s.

    Thanks!

    Tinted fronts, blacked out overlays.
Looks like a fun trail, I’m gonna have to go check it out. Post an update after you go, please.

I like the Alamo mountain loop but I believe the gate is locked for the season now. If you go to just drive to the USFS Alamo mountain area you do not have to pay to drive through the recreation area.

The Miller Jeep trail that ends at Alamo mountain is a great hard trail but should not be driven alone.

In the recreation area, the practice area and Pronghorn trail are popular. The Pronghorn trail has an intermediate dirty slab climb as the main obstacle.

Just stumbled across this. I ride MX up there almost every Sunday. That progrhorn slab has really takin a beating over the last few years and has gotten to be pretty gnarly.
If anyone is ever going up there on a Sunday let me know. I park at the Quail Canyon track parking lot. It's very close to the middle of Proghorn trail intersection and the quail pass trail which will take you to Freeman Canyon and some cool scenic area's in the badlands.
