I can’t be the first that’s run into this…..I just installed some accessory lighting that required an add a fuse to INJ fuse in the engine fuse box. The cover wouldn’t fit back on due to the height of the add a fuse! It looks like there are taller fuse cover options for the interior fuse box but I’m not seeing anything for the engine fuse box. I used a heat gun to make it work, but I’d like something a little more legit if possible. Any ideas? It’s a 21 PRO. Hey-

I'm in the same boat....trying to add a +12V source that is only on when the vehicle is running/in accessory. Tapped the same fuse you did, but ran into the issue with the cover. I moved over to another fuse, but found out it was hot all of the time....looking for another +12V source.

    Thanks.

I'm going to use the heat gun as well. I haven't seen or heard of any other fix. I currently have the add a fuse in a different location but that location does have power once in awhile so the accessory does turn on from time to time. It looks like yours turned out pretty good. Do you have any tips or was it pretty straightforward? Thanks.

For the engine fuse box use a low profile fuse tap (LP-mini), instead of the Mini.

Thank you. Yeah, I am using the low pro tap but in the 2020+, the fuse box has a differently layout. So placing the tap in the location it needs to be, the cover hits the tap not allowing it to close. Just got finished with the heat gun. It works, still a bit tight but the tap is where id like it and the cover does close. With a little persuasion of course. I did attempt running the wire outside of the box in the location where the positive comes into the box. I was a bit concerned with the wire rubbing on the metal connection and exposing wires.
