Trade in their 5th gen or not and on what ?

The only way is if I really cannot afford the 4Runner and trading it in gets me the LC for no payment.

 

In a heartbeat on that LC in the OP. I'd take the equity from my 4R (if the LC isn't too outlandishly priced), put on some 33" Falken WildPeaks, and a 2" lift and call it a day.

 

That 100 series does everything better than a 4Runner. If it’s in good shape, that is.

 

I have my 2020 LC200 heritage its a great over engineered vehicle but not worth the over inflated prices they a bringing , I just sold/ traded the wife’s 2019 LC200 base , she prefers driving the BMW … go figure .
I took another new vehicle and a big check for the 2019 LC 200 .
2018 and up are the best year 200’s if you need to own one .
I just picked up a 2022 TRD Pro 4runner , nothing to do with the LC 200 deal , my local dealer knew I buy lots of vehicles and had a pro coming in and reached out to me .
I like the simplicity of the 4runner , love the manual 4x4 selector and power rear window .

 

I looked into getting a Lexus NX 350 Hybrid, they were giving me very good money for my 2019 4runner, and said no thank you I simply love the simplicity of the 2019 4runner.

 

This. You won’t find something as perfect as the 4Runner. JUST enough tech with simplicity. I literally bought it for how old the design was. If it came with crank windows and a regular key I would be in heaven.

 

You guys want simplicity, and long lasting, sturdy tech, you'd love my 2 87 vehicles. Both of which still run quite well, STILL.
I've had the 4Runner since about 95 or so, and I got ahold of my pickup in 88, with only 30,000 on the ODO. They both just keep on truckin.
OH! They both have manually cranked windows, too.

So what about the alleged 2023 redesigned 4runner, will it be worth upgrading? Or not at all ?

 

Same here, I’m new to this whole key fob thing and I am not that big of a fan of it. And the $4000 head unit might be the one thing that’s gonna piss me off if it shits. Aftermarket would be fine with me until I realized the vehicles settings are on it.
