Thought this section fit best for the topic.
A LOT of ya’ll have plasti dipped the hello out of things as witnessed by all the various posts here and there.
    Plasti Dip virgin here.
Doesn’t look like rocket science. Have an exceptionally clean surface and do several light coats.
With Exceptionally clean and light coats emphasized!

my question is mostly centered around this primer I’ve uncovered by going to their website. Never seen it in any of the stores that carry it. So, does this primer truly provide a benefit? Primers have huge benefits for painting so it would stand to reason it might. BUT could also be another revenue stream with no benefit. So, anybody with experience have some words they can shed on this primer and if it helps in anyway and if theres times its more beneficial than others.

Im preparing to plasti dip my wheel center caps- the shiny metal ring (appears clear coated) and the black plastic riser/frame on my TRD ORP wheels.

    thanks my fellow Runners!

    Part 2 of my question—-
I just went back to their website and see this blurb at the end I didnt notice first time i went thru it - sounds like this primer doesn’t come off? What’s it look like i now wonder… not geeked about a permanent defect…
