Unused vacuum port. May have been used on a different configuration somewhere along the line.

Instead of starting a new thread.. using this title..
Anybody know what this part number is/where to get it? I dont want the entire center cap just the metal ring. Its on a TRD OR Premium wheel.
The metal tabs on these can only be moved like 2x and they break off… after a couple trial evaluations on ideas i have one loose as three tabs broke off and I Dont think I want to glue or double side tape it as i anticipate needing to remove it Gain at some point since im plasti dipping it…. Unless one of ya’ll have a nifty suggestion.

If all else fails ill just have to order a full center cap assembly.

You cannot order just the center ring AFAIK. I’ve had mine off several times to paint them black. And yes those tabs break off, they’re very thin aluminum.
My solution was to glue them back on, spot tack them with an RTV or other adhesive.

If you want to buy the whole cap here’s the Toyota part number.
    COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 4260B-35100
    It’s $73 each!

    Thanks
So when u “spot tac” are you able to get it off without bending it? That was my concern with a secondary method.

i see it in Amazon for like $18
But if your spot tac is on off friendly and solid i might give that a whizz

It depends what adhesive you use and how many dabs you apply.
The last time I did it I broke off many tabs. I pushed in as much of each remaining tab thru the plastic to the back then dabbed on E6000 hobby glue at each tab and let it seep through. It’s probably almost permanent now.

You could also try tacking it between the ring and plastic in a few spots, then use a thin putty knife to break it free without bending.

Edit: With my latest, I probably could peel away each glued spot then with a thin flat blade screwdriver carefully push each tab through the plastic without bending the metal ring.
