Hey Guys I have an 86 4runner that didn't come with a/c from factory and it like to convert it. I have access to a 95 4runner for parts. Is there anything I could use from the 95 that would work in my 86?

    5vz swap, OME,
I'm assuming your 86 is a 22re. Is the 95 a 3.0l? I know the 3vz will work with the 5vz but you have to change the pully on the front since the old 3.0 uses a v shape belt.

It's a 22re and yes the 95 is the 3.0. I was hoping like the condenser and evaporater would be interchangeable along with some of the hoses and such but I guess probably not? I'm sure the compresser would be different?

If the compressor is different you might be able to rob everything from the 3.0 up to the top plate on the compressor.

The compressor looks pretty similar after a quick El Google search with the pulley being different. V-belt vs 4 groove.

I’ve got an 87 (og 22RE) with a 3.0l ac unit in it and everything bolts up to where it’s supposed to on the front. You might get lucky!
