Anybody work graveyards or swing shift on here? Currently on a night swing and can get bored most nights. Post in here with your b.s. and maybe we can entertain ourselves until day shift comes in. Lol

Im back to graves this rotation. It was the only way I could get Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve off. Anybody else a vampire?

Ya I’m nocturnal. If I go to my stand in the morning all the deer run off. If I sit around 3 until sunset. They all come in like clockwork.

We used to do mid-sheath entries on hot 432’s starting at midnight.
    To splice in a lateral….

I worked graves when I first started with this company. Thank god Art Bell was on the air then!

7-1/2 years on nights when I first started in LE. Thought I would hate it but ended up loving it. Those times of extreme excitement and danger were indescribable.

Nothing good happens after midnight! We stay pretty busy on graves.

Before I retired, I worked the 3:30 to 11:45 pm shift. Loved it as no big bosses were around. Did that for the last 6 or so years. I did work the grave yard shift when I first started working some 35 years ago and hated it. Totally screwed up my sleep especially on weekends.

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
I worked "mids", 11PM (2300) to 7AM (0700) almost my entire Marine career. Spent over a year as a rifle/pistol coach/instructor, all on days, obviously.
Almost all my civilian career, working at the Yuma Aerostat Site, I worked nights, 7PM-7AM. Loved every second of it. All the heavies were gone home, and it wasn't AS hot. Not that Yuma is ever really cool, but at least less hot. No sun glaring down, quiet, peaceful. Best time of day, IMHO.

    Have fun!
    Pat☺
