Yes I rub a little still. I have a BMC, removed front mud flaps, and that is all I have done pretty much. Here is the driver front tire and what the tire comes in contact with:

I did, also did a BMC. I didn't add any preload to the kings (yet) so I had rubbing on the body mount and have front plastic rub (I'll end up cutting slightly)

I added 285s about as cheaply as possible. Daystar 2/1 lift, very minor trimming on the front bumper and the mud guards, no body mount mods and no rubbing on some fairly difficult Jeep trails in Arizona. Ironically, I was leaving work the other day and backing out of a parking spot and I heard rubbing. Never happened before.

If I installed a true suspension lift with more articulation, then I would likely have to do much more trimming. The advantage of the Daystar lift is that it retains factory ride and most get lucky enough to not have to use UCAs to get alignment back into spec. But, it does not improve suspension performance in any way. For my moderate off-roading and daily commuting, the set-up is just fine.

In the previous pic, I was at stock ride height. With the 275/70/17, I had very slight ( and I mean ever so slight) rubbing in rewind, at full lock, where the driveway meets the road. Since then, I installed a basic spacer kit ( Readylift) 2" front and 1" rear. No rubbing anywhere, at any time. Still havent hit any major off roading spots ( dont really plan to either) but been up and down a couple washed out farm roads. Still a plush factory ride but she sits a little higher now. Here is a pic with the lift...

The reason I went with Relation Race Wheels…

I just realized this tonight when I went out and looked at the 4Runner. I noticed my rear wheels protective steel plates came in good use as I apparently hit something pretty good…

Thank goodness for RRW as I have a protective plate to keep the wheels safe from things like this. Just have to remove it and sand it down so I can touch it up with a little paint for rust protection and to get hit the next time I take it out.

2021 SR5P stock upgraded to Trd pro wheels and dumped the stock Duelers for Falken Wildpeaks (stock) I have no lift. Before (stock) and after. Did the full emblem blackout, after I chew these tires up I may lift when it’s time for new shoes but that’s a few years off.

Rear is 2 and front is near level with the rear. Don’t have an exact number but around 2.5” is what I’d say.

Thanks, they’re 17” I believe they’re an inch and a half wider than the stock wheels. The offset is zero

no rubbing, the tires are the factory size as well, but look bigger‍♂️

Did you have to do any trimming with the 285s on a 0 offset? Curious as to how much rubbing you had. i have 0 offset with 2.5 front lift and UCAs. About to pull the trigger on 285s
