1993 T100 from an old Italian guy who was the original owner. It had 74,000kms on it when I bought it. It started losing power a few years ago and my neighbor, who is a mechanic, diagnosed that my #6 exhaust valve was dead and convinced me that I could totally fix that myself. I had bought another '93 T100 with the bottom end blown up because it had a sweet flat deck on it so I swapped in the cylinder head from that and put on the flat deck and Bob is your uncle. Now that I knew how to do a head gasket on a 3VZE I figured I should find a blown out 2nd gen 4Runner because they are freakin sweet and without a box on my truck it was really crowded with the boyfriend and the dog in the standard cab.
So I bought this '95 v6 4Runner sight unseen because it wasn't fit to drive and they could deliver it to my buttfudge nowhere town. The body and frame are in pretty decent shape for a 95. Other than that it is an absolute disaster they had put gasket fix into the rad and just drove the crap out of it with oil and rad fluids spewing everywhere. I don't know what is wrong with the clutch, they said it was recently done, most of the stuff they said about the thing seems to have been a lie. I did both head gaskets and a farmer valve job, replaced the shims and cleaned everything as well as I could. Now it is running and the engine sounds great but generally drives like shit. I have ordered a new master and slave cylinder for the clutch because what the heck, lets try that. At one point I thought I might get it going and sell it but I really love these things and now I'm emotionally attached. I've been spending time on the forums and youtube and i'm all fired up to get her fixed up and do the suspension and.. ?? go get stuck somewhere out in the mountains I guess. At least we'll have a cozy place to sleep.245799656_1266294707222312_1168831845489263408_n.jpg 246259549_374355067708377_5911321779342805274_n.jpg 245683441_646699776490533_8320991575394624499_n.jpg 245667531_197796882430662_4066620401309806322_n.jpg 245026299_582275646525436_7989967652626814519_n.jpg

Welcome from Arizona! It sounds like you are a determined person. I'm sure this rig will be running like sewing machine soon. Good luck.
