Had a slight hope Toyota wouldn't follow American truck manufacturer that have gone to extreme levels of stupidity with their badging. Sadly, Toyota is following their lead.

Every year, vehicle badging gets more gaudy and stupid.

The new Tundra 2022 TRD Pro has badging on ...
    • Top of grill 'TOYOTA' in big letters.
    • Top of front bumper 'TUNDRA' in bigger letters
    • Passenger side dash 'TOYOTA' in big letters
    • Tailgate 'TRD PRO' in big letters
    • Tailgate handle 'TOYOTA'
    • Tailgate '4x4'
    • 'TRD Pro' on the hood (2x)
    • 'TRD Pro' on both seats
    • 'TRD' on the skid plate.
    • 'TRD' on the steering wheel
    • Toyota logo on steering wheel
    Ridiculous.

Customer focus group seem to want it, that’s why every single American pick up truck has “super duty” or “ram” written on it in massive 16 inch letters and why every single special edition has more stickers on it than a high school girl’s laptop.

I mean it looks like they are following the Americans in making this thing ugly as shit and a family car, which is what pick up trucks have become.

I like when badging is stamped into the panels. It makes the panels stronger and easier to clean than stick on badges.
