Congrats man! I have the same color... but mines an SR5 premium. Did u get the trail model? Have you thought about blacking out your rims? Looks so much better... i just did mine

Yes, it's the Trail model. Thanks... I did all of that Mod stuff on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab... I don't plan on changing near as much stuff on this one.

Nice truck

...same here. TW really saved me a lot of headache and money. Buying the T4R this year was the right choice. In 3 years, we might trade-in the Sienna for a Taco if Toyota can get the motor-tranny combo in a more usable package for a truck.

I have a 2016 T4R Trail and a 2017 Tacoma. Did the TSB for the transmission on the Tacoma and I am very pleased with the results. The 6 Speed feels like just about every other computer controlled 6 speed out there, so don't expect them to fix that. I've towed, off roaded, and road tripped with the Tacoma, it's actually pretty good compared to the other 2 Tacoma's I've had.

The T4R feels more premium, and you won't experience the issues with it that you did with the Tacoma. T4R is our family car, and is about to go explore the Ozark mountains next week, looking forward to it.

(We have a MGM Grey T4R Trail Premium) - Essentially exactly what you got there. It's awesome, you're going to really enjoy it.

When I took my 2016 Tacoma to the dealer about the TSB, they told me that it didn't pertain to my vehicle. I explained that I was having the same issues as others and my vehicle was on the list for the TSB. They wouldn't do it. I traded it in to another dealer (for the 4runner) the next week. Problem solved!

OP, good move going to another dealer. I called 3 until I got ZERO resistance from the one I used, they even had me fixed in like 30 minutes. That's the winner, will be going back there for everything, future purchases and everything.
