Nice tire. In my opinion other side of sidewall is better looking.

Threw some TRD Pro wheels on my wifes SR5. She even had the wherewithal to choose the matte black, since she has the black overlay option. I will throw up some pics though it's hardly anything unique; just a silver runner with black wheels. She loves it though, and I gotta say the slight change in offset (or was it backspacing?) made a surprisingly nice change. We are putting snow tires on the stock wheels so this allows me to just do all the swapping at home. TPMS were moved over from the stock wheels with zero issue. I couldn't believe how cheap these were for a factory item.

As long as it was a choice and not mandated. see https://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2021/10/09/ca-gas-powered-lawn-equipment-ban/
Not trying to talk politics at all, but more the practicability of this 'green' movement which is not really 'green' considering the process of producing batteries. Gas chain saw vs electric. One can be kept running and maintained by the owner. The other not so much.

Yes it was my choice , no gas to carry and spill in the car. Quiet quick to use. No fuss startup in weather or different elevations. Won’t bother others around making a few quick cuts to down or dead trees for fire wood. 3 year warranty. So Milwaukee can fix it. There can’t be much inside to go wrong. Switch motor gear box and come sort of controller board no different than an Rc car or drill ect so minor things should be easily fixed. They show a parts list so it’s gotta be serviceable. If not I’ll buy another and still not miss my noisy sthl spilling in my 4Runner and causing my small kids to plug there ears when we’re out and smell gas in the cab. All without pissing off anyone else that has to listen to it. So for me using solely on the trail for small fire wood and occasional down tree . Yes worth it over gas 10 fold. Gonna cut down a bunch of stuff on my land yes I’ll break out the big gun.

Another thing that makes a tool like this attractive is if you are already invested in Milwaukee tools. I already have batteries and chargers. I’ve got a gas chainsaw, but dont use it often enough to keep the carb from gumming up. So that means everytime I use it it’s reviving it using it, and prepping it for storage, it’s a pain.

I really like the silky/katana saw but @Thatbassguy has made it too popular ;) and the prices have increased. A little electric chainsaw might come in at a similar price.

I would be interested to see how well it works, and how long a battery will last.

I'm still pulling together some gear but the room that would take up is currently occupied with ratchet straps and bungee chords. (Left overs from my Taco days).

    Nice!

I only use my Husqvarna once a year. I've been using the Husqvarna pre-mixed fuel and have had very good luck with it. Even after sitting for a year, it always fires right up. I've had it since 2017.

If you have a chainsaw and don't use it often, I think the extra cost is well worth it.

    https://www.farmandfleet.com/products/795016-husqvarna-pre-mixed-fuel--oil.html

It's only $158. Consider no fuel, no batteries, and the minimal amount of space it takes up, and it doesn't seem so bad. :)

The price for the silky saw is like “market price@ for seafood. I swear Ive seen that saw for well over 200 bucks!!!

Us talking about it has probably juiced the all-seeing all-knowing algorithm… price will probably go up now. Lol

New rule about silky-saw club…nobody talks about silky-saw club. (Sorry, another movie quote reference) :p

All the power tools I have are Milwaukee, shop vac, impacts, screw guns, circular saw ect. I tell you there fuel circular saw has more power than any corded saw I’ve used. I expect good performance with the chain saw. Plus I have way more batteries that I have sawing work I know that. Claims with the 12.0 battery it came with it will make 150 cuts on treated 6x6 posts. Saw a review video where a guy cut down and bucked up 2 16” pines on 1 charge. So that’s Plenty good for it’s intended purpose
