what would be your requirements? Say Toyota is your buddy :)
    This is what I want

    1) 5.7 from Tundra
    2) More hardened frame, more hardened body. Less plastic. More stainless steel.
    3) Chrome bumpers
    4) Lots of wood and leather in the interior.
    5) No safety features, except seatbelts.
    6) 11 inches of ground clearance, and KDSS to support that.
    7) Manual transmission
    8) Manual crank windows
    9) Tundra TRD exhaust
    10) Rust coating done BY TOYOTA
    11) Stronger brakes
    12) No push button start

I’d take the v8 with a manual and the rest is good!

Educate me about solid front axle. What do we have currently and what are we missing?

A nice factory 33” tire like a Duratrac or KO2 would be nice.

I am not being sarcastic - that is an awesome looking rig! Hey, Mercedes is doing almost that exact look with their G-Wagon in a modern vehicle....ok....yes, it's very very very expensive!

That's a 70 series Diesel Land Cruiser. You can buy a brand spanking new one in Australia. Old Land Cruiser still built new. My dream rig. They come in pick up truck form too. The thing is so boxy. Who cares about aerodynamics :D

That's awesome! I love those Toyota retro-looking rigs. I've heard they are still making 100 series Land Cruisers with front/rear/center diff lockers and a solid front axle in some parts of the world....despite never offering a 100 series here with a solid front axle.

The best thing is you go to a Toyota dealer in Australia and you get a brand new 70 series LC. Toyota quality, no aftermarket stuff. Aussies are lucky

I think they can't send them here because of emissions and safety. They look anything but safe :D Also, they are so slow, very torqey but slow lol. They will be crawling on the interstate :D
Such boxy beasts. They are just a box of metal :D

Here in America we are losing so many old good stuff. 4Runner is the only old school thing left and we will kill that too. RIP 4Runner :( I will be driving mine for as long as I am alive. Good night fellas!
