18 Limited here. I’ve noticed an odd sound when I accelerate from a stop. At first I thought it was my imagination, but I know that I hear it. It’s tough to explain, but it only happens when I accelerate from a stop, and it is pretty subtle. You wouldn’t be able to hear it with music playing. The best way that I can describe it is it sounds somewhat similar to a piece of paper that you tear in half. It’s brief and it doesn’t happen every time. Anyone know what this could be?

Diagnosing odd noises in a vehicle is tough. Diagnosing odd noises over the internet with no recording of the sound is impossible.

I know it’s sort of a long shot. Sort of hoping someone thinks they had the same problem that they solved. I don’t think a recorder would pick it up. I’ll try, though.

If it is a sound that has a beginning and end, and time in between, like a paper tearing (how’s that for a description lol), I would guess something with suspension as weight shifts. That’s just a wild-ass guess.

Either that or the empty box of twinkies in the back sliding on the plastic mat in the cargo area :p:laugh:
