Is that related to the Pakistan earthquake that just happened?

I was stationed on the main island for 3 years. It's normal, just a part of life. It is the tsunami's that really mess things up. Never had to experience that thankfully. 7.6 was the highest I've been through.

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
When my squadron took a deployment to the Philippines, Mt. Pinatubo gave about a 6 or 7 shake. I was laying under a tree reading, so I just stayed there. Nothing dangerous nearby, so why panic? All the rest of the guys came pouring out gabbling a mile a minute. They all looked at me like I was totally nuts.
Since I grew up in a house 30 feet from the western edge of the San Andreas fault, I was used to jiggles now and then. Don't bother me at all. Used to P/O my father, though, when we would have to go fix the fence right on the edge of the fault, which was also the edge of our property. :D

Nothing you can do about stuff like this. If Nature wants to got you, she will. Earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, hurricanes, typhoons, you name it. There's nowhere absolutely safe. Nature will prevail :)

    Have fun until then, folks!

I grew up in the Bay Area and we had rumblers all the time. Unless it hit a 6 we didn’t even flinch. I vividly remember a 5.6 when I was really young and an inside potted plant started swinging. My mom was in the phone and never stopped talking just reached over and stopped it then winked. I kept right along playing with my GI Joes…
