New to Toyota. Looking at lockers and retaining current stock gearing, (4.88). I've red the diff must be replaced to change gearing in the future. So if I put an elocker or grizzly in the rear 8", do I have to buy new gears too, or can I bolt on the gears riding on the stock open diff.

Also, does Toyota have a carrier change parameter (similar to the DANA at 3.73) It Probably wouldn't matter considering the rig will not receive gearing of a lower numerical. Thanks
