So here's my dilemma I had a Wescott trd pro lift kit installed on my 4runner late July. I get it back and notice the back is lower so I check only to realize it's missing the rear puck. I contact the lift place and they said they installed everything I gave them. Which is bs because everything was in the box. So I can order that puck and install it or I wondering if the bumper, winch, and ight bar will be enough to level it back out. What do you guys think? I'm bad luck apparently with a Carolina lift atm :(

    First why wait til September.

Bumper winch etc may level it out but thats not what you should need to do.

Are you certain they didn't install the rears?

With nothing in the back of the vehicle what is the distance between center axle and bottom of the wheel well?

    Pictures.

When you say puck, are you saying they left off the rear spacers on both sides? If so, (and please don't take this as sarcasm) are you sure you ordered the kit with both the front and rear spacers?

If you ordered the right kit and delivered it to your local lift place....and they didn't install either rear spacer, give them a chance to make it right. Show them your invoice from Westcott. If that doesn't work, your main recourse, besides bad mouthing them, is to sue in small claims court.

Here's a screenshot of what I ordered. He's ready to sell me the rear spacers I need for 150$. The lift company doesn't care. I'm just wanting to know if yall think the bumper, winch, lightbar will level it out. I'm missing the 1.5 lift in the rear I checked and confirmed with Jeff that the rear spacer isn't there.

Jeff would have been the perfect person to ask/and answer that question. From their it's all subjective.

I just ordered this exact kit and installed it last week. Definitely 2 spacers for the rear. Also highly doubt Westcott messed up, they are a quality company.

That is a good question, one worth asking Westcott. Their customer service is top notch. As it stands, do you have a slight reverse rake? I don’t imagine the weight of the c4 would make much of a difference in height up front. Apprx how much does it weigh?

Doubtful that weight makes a difference imho. I would contact the shop and kindly ask them to double check again. Maybe show them a picture of what it looks like. Then I would explain the situation to Westcott. Hopefully they can send some new ones or something, it’s worth a shot, they are that good a company. Hope this works out!

Without looking it up, does the kit come with new springs? Depending on your stuff on the rear of the vehicle it could cause it to sag, but if a part is missing, then its def gonna cause issues. I know when I lifted the wife's vehicle I had a choice of springs to choose from for both the front and rear.

So I checked my measurements after the bumper and winch. On the rear I have 22 even and on the front I have 22 1/4. I'm thinking of leaving it like that what do yall think? If I did add the rear spacer it would be 23.5 in the rear no?

I personally like a little bit of rake. Especially if you have the rear loaded up with cargo or do any towing at all.

Lol, personally it would drive me nuts not having the full lift kit installed as well. It’s only $150, get it done and be fully satisfied.

You need the whole westcott lift for it to look correct and handle correctly. Just my opinion. I would not let it go.
