This here is my 98' 4Runner that has been a thorn in my side since the day I bought it. Unfortunately I had a stroke of bad luck and was swindled by a SOB to buy his 4Runner with hidden issues (granted, some of the blame is mine, shoulda known better). But, I digress and this is what I have nonetheless.
    1998 4Runner 4x4 with rear locker
    2.7L with TRD supercharger
    ARB front bumper
    Jaos Skid
    Recaro racing seats
    Bilsteins all around
Backup camera and some little trinkets here and there..

I overpaid to begin with because of the low miles when I bought it (77k original) and assumed (which we all know what clearly happens when you do that) that I wouldn't have to do much in the way of repairs. Unfortunately all my allocated money for building a fun rig went to fixing the cracked heads and some other BS. So here I am with a 4Runner that I so badly want to SAS but am without funds for the time. Well, not entirely true (funds go to my Tacoma build https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tymebandit951s-2013-slow-overland-build.389082/).

Hopefully I can in the future I can turn this disaster story around and get the bad taste out of my mouth.

Sorry for the bad luck. 4Runners are great for the long haul once you get it fixed. Worth the cash imho
