Looks awesome! Our '22 is supposed to hit the dealership end of this month/first week of October. Didn't do the black line.... hopefully that doesn't become a regret.

Good call. I ordered weather teachs for mine and they sure aren’t cheap. Super happy with the front seats and rear seats. The liner for the back could be better.

    Oedro mats are better.

I replaced my oem all-weather mats with Oedro, I am amazed how much better than Weathertechs they are, and the fitment is the best I have seen, for a much better price than Husky.

I've got OEDRO in my T4R. The packaging says it fits the GX460 too. IMO they're nicer than Husky and if OEDRO made a cargo liner I'd switch my Husky one out. I've ran mine for almost 3 years.

Back to the main topic, I go back and forth between wanting to upgrade to a GX460. I love the option with the captain seats in the middle row. Only thing holding me back are the mods and time I put into my 4Runner.

I swapped the oedro from our 4runner to the GX since I still had the OEM rubber mats for the 4runner. Loving the GX so far. The V8 is not overwhelmingly powerful, but very smooth and the six speed transmission is great. We're keeping it and the 4Runner though ;-)

I'm keeping my 4runner as the off road rig. The GX460 i plan to get will be the premium plus that has what I want: ML audio, heated/cooling seats, 3 roll temp zone, and Sport design option :spending:

Road tripped to Eagle, Idaho for thanksgiving. Took the GX out to the trails to see how it would do. Beautiful out in Idaho but cold as shit. DDFFBFDE-1518-4ACF-B753-878D6AD14264.jpg

Got up to Kirkham hots springs in Idaho. The GX has been worth every penny. It drove so nice over the hour and half of back country, snow covered road. A7736FE9-D30C-47BB-9D31-17EC0FA27257.jpgEDEEBF0D-33E3-46B1-AE29-C9E4045E9C48.jpg

Also, notice the nice big dent on the front fender. The GX got its first ding right before the trip. A pole came out of now where when I was backing up. Hahaha.

We picked our '22 up last Friday. It's my perfect vehicle since I don't do anything more than trails or the odd pasture drive.

I have no regrets replacing the 4Runner with it.

I would have bought the GX also if not for the dumb tailgate. Good luck trying to open if you are trailering a boat.

Did you trim the front bumper on yours?! LOL. If so that's amazing, because if flies in the face of all the snooty moms that drive them. And I also can't believe you trimmed a 60k car. So conflicted! :goingcrazy: But it looks great.

I feel like an off road Lexus should have an option for one of these.

The window pops up if you need to grab anything. I tow a camp trailer with mine and have had zero issue grabbing anything with just the window popped up.

I bought it with the intent to wheel it. Being comfortable while doing it was a plus haha.

I also cut the side steps and plan to cut up the rear as well. a few weeks ago I trimmed more up front and hammered the pinch weld for 35s…

Gx is my wife's. Both are 2021 premiums. Kdss on both. Gx is still bone stock and indeed is smoother and more refined.

Hi, for those that own a GX, what off road goodies does it have? Is it similar to the TRD Pro 4Runner (rear locker, crawl control, mts, etc)? I am in the market for a TRD pro but curious about the GX. I own a 2019 LX 570 that I have debated on getting rid of for something a bit more nimble as was debating on the TRD pro but may look at the GX. I also have some thought of just keeping the LX and getting better wheels and tires.

I would keep the LX. It’s very similar to the LC200 and all suspension will bolt right up. Just lift it and get some nice wheels and bigger tires.

But if you truly want something smaller I’d trade you my GX for your LX

haha…thanks. Yeah, that is what I keep coming back to which is why I haven’t pulled the trigger…though I can’t find any TRD pro 4Runners. Found one in Macon,Ga and the dealer wanted $80k for it. Nuts..

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
I can't stand that front end. I'd be tempted to Prado Swap that front grill. I actually saw one of these conversions at the Rendezvous in the Ozarks in October. Looked good.

    https://garagealpha.com/products/lexus-gx460-150-toyota-prado-conversion

This is the one I saw:

    http://inventory.adventure-motors.c...s-gx-460-for-sale-in-grandview-missouri-64030

Otherwise, this would be the least expensive route @ $1259:
    https://ironman4x4america.com/class...xus-gx460-2014-toyota-prado-150/?sku=BBCD047K

I'd then need to add a rear locker at minimum or do front and rear Arb air lockers.
