I got some custom seat covers from dashdesigns.com. They fit like a glove and are perfect!! There are so many different fabrics. And not that expensive as the price they give is per row.
    Here's what they look like...

Hi - are those seat covers open on the sides? It appears that way in photo... Thanks!

Yes, they are open on the sides. I really like them and won't have an issue with the airbags.

Any tactical or Molle seat covers out there? Was looking at getting some however, I'm concerned with the leg room of the second row.

Had WetOkole's on my Tacoma. Spendy but a very high quality product.

I've been fortunate to get in on group buys and only needed one row, had two regular can trucks then my Utility Package only having front seats.

When I trade UP I'll get both rows with the sunglass pockets and such.

They aren't cheap but have been worth every penny IMHO.

I have a set of CoverKing ballistic fabric in my Tacoma. They are only water resistant but the wife and I love them. I prefer them as they are kind of slippery, it's easier to get into for me at least. They also don't get near as warm as Wet Okole under my buns. We have thought about just getting a base TE and installing them. They eventually smooth out but will come out of the box with wrinkles. This is them in my truck. They have shown some wear on the drivers side lower left seam, but I think it's how I get into my truck as I sit in it and rotate both my legs in. At 6'4" @225 I'm sure the cover doesn't like that, lol...

I scored them on Amazon Prime for I think about 180 bucks for the two seats only. But again I will be ordering them for my upcoming 4Runner when that happens.

Thanks for the info! I haven't seen that material before. I'm thinking about going with the neosupreme covers by Cover King in red and black. I found some on eBay that were resonantly priced.

If you get them post up pics and share your thought, even if you just installed them and don't have many miles on them as installation is a great time to inspect quality and fitment and such.

    Please do,

Hope they fit your needs. I certainly love mine. So much I'm thinking about a TE base model so I can cover the seats with these. Maybe in a darker color though.

Finally got them on. Not 100% happy with the fit. The back rest cover doesn't fit flush with the actual seat, but can hardly tell. Overall I like the color and am happy with them.

we've always gotten Cal-Trend seat covers. they're a little pricey but the fit like a glove and look very close to the factory material.

I have a 96' that is in impeccable condition. The interior is cloth and blue in color. Any suggestions on seatcovers for front and back? Looking for something that looks so good that cats can't tell they are covers.

Wet Okole, from Hawaii. A little pricey, but great quality. Had a full set on a '14 Tacoma, and just ordered fronts for my '96 4Runner.

If you're looking for the best covers (of any material), Wet Okole. If you're looking for the best leather covers, Clazzio.

Also, are you trying to deceive actual cats? They're pretty perceptive to seat cover material and construction.

Cal-trend are the best looking & fitting covers we've found so far. A little pricey but they fit like a glove and a lot of people can't tell they're seat covers. We've had these for 3 different Toyotas and will definitely buy them again when we get our next new Toyota.

    Hi Forum,
my seats are in horrible shape but im not willing to drop 150 or 200 dollars for used ones from the junk yard just so they look the same in a couple years.
do you have suggestions on where to get good and not trashy looking seat covers?
    thank you

Don't know if you are still looking but CoverKing https://wheelstips.com/best-car-seat-covers makes a pretty nice fitting set of seatcovers too. They have some made out of a material called Spacer Mesh. This will breathe well over the leather and allow some circulation so that you know suffer the "sweaty back" syndrome. They are not the best choice for completely protecting but a nice compromise. Mine had absorbed minor spills and even a couple melted M&Ms' (don't ask) without letting the mess get to the original seats. I actually just priced them out for the Patriot and from Coverking they are $162 per set. One set for the front and then you have to buy a seperate set for the rear. There are different configurations to accommodate seat airbags, the fold flat seat, etc... I have been running a set of these on my Miata since I bought it and am very happy with them.
On YouTube there are a lot of interesting videos on this topic, I will share with you, one of them, hope this will help someone. Good luck
