So I'm about to install a Toytec 3" lift on my 2002 Sport with 258,000 miles on it and I'm wanting to know what everyone thinks about the tire size. I'm using it as a daily driver with little to moderate use on the trails with a possibility of hitting it hard at times. I didn't know if I should look at a 285 or a 275? Also trying to figure out if it's worth upgrading the brakes to the Tundra system. Anyone have any advice?

    Thanks

    Eric

3" lift, 33” BFG muds, Aircraft Landing lights, Tractor muffler... The usual stuff.
I have 265/75's on my "3 inch" lift. It's 3" in the rear, but it was only about 1 inch in the front because of the spacers on original struts.(I was on a budget. I'll get new struts soon) But anyways, I think the 265's look nice, you don't wanna get too much wider with stock rims, but if you get some aftermarket rims that come out further, you can go with a wider tire. But we'll see what other people think, I don't have too much experience with other tire sizes.image.jpg
