    Hello,

Been a member here for a bit (mine is the white one). My dad went and bought this yesterday lol complete surprise. 2015 SR5 4x4 with an icon stage 7 suspension set up sitting on 315/R70/17 35 inch tires. No rubbing. Has a bumper chop and BMC as far as I can tell (haven't seen it in person yet). Purchase from original owner who had all maintenance records. Also came with a gobi stealth roof rack and ladder with a Rooftop tent and a Roam awning. Has a hitch spare tire carrier (unknown brand). Only 52,000 miles. He is excited to be able to hit up some trails lol he came up from an older 2005 dodge ram 1500. Those are all the pics I have of it right now (it's what he sent me)

    Quick video of it

Apparently the seller just got a brand new jeep gladiator and was wanting some money to mod it out

Understand, I guess? To each their own, but I personally would have kept the Runner. You both have a couple beauty's there!

That red looks great, always makes me second guess and wish I would’ve went with red instead of white. Nice rig!

Looks great. I imagine it must have upgraded lift struts on the rear hatch door and the hood, with all that stuff on there. And, hopefully, re-geared axles for those tires...

That’s an unusual platform to do such an aggressive build, because if I recall the SR5 doesn’t have factory lockers.

I would see when that lift was installed, because given how old it is I would bet those shocks need to be rebuilt/replaced.

Me personally I would buy a Wrangler vs a 4Runner with that kind of mods. Again its just me who use 4Runner for more touring and some offroad.

For anyone who was curious, got some more info from my dad regarding his new 4runner. No lockers, but the seller did have the truck regeared for those 315's

As far as I know aftermarket air lockers are much better than factory e-lockers. IMO this will open doors for you to have twin lockers..

Yes. No roll back either. In an e locker it has to make a full revolution to hit the stop. So if switching between forward and reverse or on a line where u have to go and roll back a couple ft to get ur line then ur lockers are taking a full revolution to engage. Vs a air locker. Completely locked

Yea the dunes are closing, but I think they are still keeping a 1 mile strip of beach open to drive on for day camping?

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
Good looking rig! I'm impressed by how much ground clearance that thing has!

    Really a non-issue.

Our rear E-Locker don't turn off very easily. I turn mine on and leave it on for the most part as it doesn't want to come off before the next obstacle.

Yes, in approximately 3 years time the Dunes will be no more, but some dedicated folks are fighting back.
