2017 4Runner TRD Pro colors

Hi guys I am currently on the list for ordering a 2017 4Runner TRD Pro later this year (all the 2016's near me are sold). I saw that the Cement color is new but I wanted to find out what the other colors might be. Nothing is out there until I found this YouTube video. Pause @0:03 secs and look at the bottom right corner for the 2017 colors. Thought that might help.

Well I have been a Honda guy and currently have a 2011 Acura MDX Advance along with the 1999 Toyota Camry that has been in the family since 2000. I find Honda disappointing at the current moment and want something more reliable. I keep finding myself coming back to the 4Runner and love the TRD Pro look/options.
Looking forward to becoming full blood Toyota.

 

I imagine it will be Cement, White and Black. They typically offer White/Black + Color of the Year (2015 was Inferno, 2016 was Quicksand, 2017 Cement).

 

The sign mentioned Barcelona Red Metalic also, FWIW.

I am supervised as my wife said she liked the Cement, lol... She acts like she is puking every time we see a Desert Sand Tacoma.

 

LOL That's EXACTLY the same reaction my wife has with Quicksand (I like it). And she also said she liked the Cement color too.

 

I keep trying to educate her about the throwback tribute to old Toyta trucks of yore that were a nice matte dirt tan color, lol...

Much like she likes her "White" Apple products. Hahaha

 

I am really loving the Cement also. My wife hates the Quicksand! White cars in Oklahoma sucks because the red dirt gets into the paint.

 

It was stated that cement being the special color, white as normal, and the wild card color is Barcelona red.
So the three colors are cement, white, and Barcelona red

 

So no MGM, interesting....

I wish I could afford a TRD Pro, I'm looking more at a TEP. That and I love Silver, hahaha

My local dealer sells the TRD Pro T4R and Tacoma at 500 under MSRP, first come first serve!

 

Truthfully we bought a TEP and never looked back. The TRD Pros are cool to those of us who know what it is (better tires, better shocks, slight lift), but if you plan to lift or change to different rims / tires later then it's kind of a wash, other than that sweet grille, which I can replicate or just buy for a ton of cash.

The TEP also can come with KDSS, but I don't believe the TRD Pros will. Our TEP did NOT have KDSS, and while I'm sure it's very nice, we rocked out a OHV park in Marble Falls and it was just a monster, even with the terrible Dunlop AT tires it came stock with. I can only imagine what good tires and a 3/2 lift will do to it.

So is a Trail / TEP really better or worse? Well, it came in MGM and my wife said that was a requirement of the deal, so it was perfect for us.

 

Did you get the rear cargo tray?

 

I did not, but that's because I wanted to build a box with drawers or just a box so I can stack multiple levels. Plus, it appears to have covered up the tie downs that are in the floor of the cargo space, and I wanted to keep my options open. Some people complained the tray felt flimsy, and we pack hard and heavy, so we figured it would just die a nasty death eventually anyways.

I'm 6'4" myself. Never had a real problem getting things in or out of a cargo area. Now low overhangs are a different story, lol...

I always enjoy seeing the few TRD Pros in the area though.

If I could convince the wife on white it may be an option for us, honestly I don't need a lift, just better tires for snow and sand.
