Just looking to see if this 2004 SR5 4wd seems like a good deal....I'm thinking maybe a bit lower in price but that's just me.

I was originally looking at 3rd Gens but this caught my eye. Ran the VIN through the Toyota VIN decoder website and has no reported problems. I requested a Carfax report even though it says in the description it's clean, I'd rather see what kind of maintenance was done. Anything I should look out for? I know the 3rd Gens had the pink milkshake problems and too look out for TB and WP replacement every 100k, not sure about these 4th Gens though.

Found time to run up and take a quick look....not too bad, though after just glancing over it it looks like it might need lower ball joints replaced. The dash is cracked like crazy too! On the way back I decided to stop and take a look at a few other 4th Gens and noticed every single one of them the dash was cracked from passenger to driver side. Is this a common problem with these???

Yes that's a common problem but there was a recall or TSB for it so dealers usually replace for free but you'll have to check on it.

    Good advice there,

I had no idea about this with the 4th Gens. Hmm
