Just got a new 2021 White TRD OR Premium and I want to changed out the wheels and tires to a black TRD wheel .... but which one do you like better the older design or the new 2021 design? My original wheels and tires with TPMS will be for sale - all 5. They are in NJ so if interested please PM me, they will have less than 100 miles.

I hope you know that TRP Pro wheels are skinnier than your TRD OR Premium wheels. TRD Pro wheels are not approved for bigger tires like 285/70R17.

May be its best to use that money for a good after market wheel so when you are ready for big tires with lift you are all set.

I understand your point and thank you. This 4Runner is my daily commuter and will see about 90% highway miles (I was going to get a Limited... but none to be found in a configuration I liked). The tires I will be putting on will either be Pirelli Scorpion AT Plus or Bridgestone's Dueler A/T Revo 3 in the factory 265/70R17 size. I will also do a level with Bilstein 5100's on the corners. As a side note this 4Runner has a born on date of 8/2021 - that's a pretty fast build and ship from Japan to US.

My factory OR wheels are sold. Doing a bit of research the 2021 TRD wheels are manufactured differently. The previous wheels where gravity cast and the 2021 TRD wheel are low pressure flow form. Suppose to be stronger.

275s can be used on TRD Pro wheels. Its the 285s where TRD Pro wheels does not meet minimum width vs TRD ORP wheels can be used with 285s.
