Well, seems like my battery finally died on me. Had a few questions for people who've replaced their battery before.

    • What brand do you recommend? I'm leaning towards the Die Hard Platinum Marine. I want a deep cycle because this isn't my daily driver and may sit there for a while in between driving.
    • What size? I've seen 35 and 24f being used by people but wondering what most go with. I hear 24f doesn't quit fit in the battery tray and also provides different CCA rating than 35's which seem to be in the 850-900 CCA range from what I've seen. Want the most CA's I can get since I will eventually be adding winch, OBA and lights a'plenty in the future.

I went with the Die Hard Platinum. The best battery I have seen, had it tested after a few months and had 1000 cca even though it advertised 850. Doesnt fit the tray well, I have the 35.

I would second the die hard platinum. When I replace mine it will be with one of those.

A few things here and there. Still dreaming up stuff
I run the Die Hard Platinum also. I have left lights on in my truck all night long no issue starting it the next morning. Jumped countless people off of it. It's well worth the money you invest in it.

Cool, thanks for the feedback guys! I was probably going Die Hard anyway but your comments have further convinced me this is the route I need to go. Thanks again!

It sounds like you have made up your mind, but I will also suggest diehard platinum. I have the 31m in my 1st gen, and whatever size it is I could fit in my 2nd gen tacoma (can't remember off the top of my head)
