Here’s my old 2015 taco. I decided to replace this with a 2015 4Runner trail which was bone stock when I got it. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/my-sr5-build.414446/

First thing I did was add a Dobinsons lift. I went with the heavy springs all around.

201C6E60-8CFA-4A51-A29B-AB6DF3D3228E.jpg I knew I’d be adding some additional weight and decided a overly jacked vehicle would be good motivation too add it.3B7F0826-DB2E-4554-92E0-11483420DCE4.jpg

At about this point my rear bumper arrived from C4. This thing is a beast.

I went with sliders from Avid off-road in AZ, did a diff breather relocation, diff drop, and added a full size spare.

Bumper with swing out from C4 fab. I give it a 10/10.

shortly after this I went with an SOS front bumper (never buying from them again) https://www.4runners.com/threads/read-before-buying-sos-off-road-concepts-skid-plates.21545/ and the 8k lbs winch that came off of the Taco. I thought about selling it and upgrading but figured snatch blocks would work just fine.

I went with a Dobinsons snorkel. The install was a pain due to a poorly designed template. I got it to work eventually but the Safari install on the Taco was much easier. Also the Safari seemed to match up to the body lines better.

I’ve added an ARB compressor, Midland GMRS radio, windshield washer relocation kit by Expedition One, LFD roof rack, in-dash winch control, Cali Raised light bar, Baja Designs back up/camp lights, ditch lights and fogs. My next project will be skid plates. I’m looking for something that’ll match up with the SOS (SOL) mid and transfer plates.

    here’s a few more pics…
